This market tracks whether the price of Ethereum will be above $2,300 on September 25, 2026. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to that outcome. Resolution will be based on the 12:00 PM ET Binance ETH/USDT 1-minute candle close price, as reported directly from Binance at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT. Keep a close watch on the price action leading up to September 25, 2026, as the final Binance ETH/USDT price at noon ET on that date will determine the market’s outcome.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for ETH/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
Currently, prediction market odds suggest a very high probability that Ethereum will be above its target price on September 25th. This contrasts with broader spot price expectations which are influenced by a wider range of factors, including macroeconomic conditions and regulatory news. While spot markets reflect immediate supply and demand, this market represents a collective forecast of what will happen on a specific date in the future. Discrepancies between these expectations can create opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of Ethereum being above the specified price on September 25th. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand, meaning increased buying pressure will raise the price and vice versa. This creates a real-time assessment of market sentiment, driven by the collective intelligence of traders.
This market resolves around Sep 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the price of Ethereum at a specified time on September 25th, as reported by a widely recognized and trusted data source. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of whether the market resolves in favor of the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ outcome, based on the prevailing market conditions at the time of settlement.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Sep 25, 2026. Major news regarding Ethereum’s development, such as successful upgrades or significant adoption announcements, could drive prices higher. Conversely, negative regulatory news or security breaches could exert downward pressure. Broader macroeconomic factors, like changes in interest rates or inflation data, could also influence investor sentiment towards cryptocurrencies generally, impacting this market. Unexpected events in the wider crypto space, such as a major exchange hack, could also trigger price movements.
