This market tracks whether the price of Ethereum will be above $2,200 on September 15th. Currently, Polymarket gives a 99.9% probability to that outcome. Resolution will be based on the 12:00 PM ET Binance ETH/USDT 1-minute candle “Close” price on September 15th, as reported at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT. Keep a close watch on the price of Ethereum leading up to September 15th, 2026, as the final Binance price at noon ET on that date will determine the market’s outcome.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for ETH/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
Currently, the odds on Polymarket suggest a strong belief among traders regarding the future price of Ethereum. These predictions often differ from those found in traditional polls or analyst forecasts, as prediction markets incentivize participants to express their genuine beliefs backed by capital. If a majority of analysts predict a lower price, but this market shows a high probability of Ethereum exceeding a specific threshold, it indicates a potentially contrarian view held by those willing to put their money where their mouth is. This divergence can be a valuable signal for informed decision-making.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the price of Ethereum as recorded by a widely recognized and trusted source at a specific time on September 15. The platform will verify the price against these sources to determine whether the market resolves in favor of the 'yes' or 'no' outcome. Traders should monitor news and data releases leading up to the resolution date to stay informed about potential price movements.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before Sep 15, 2026. Major regulatory announcements regarding cryptocurrency, particularly Ethereum, could trigger substantial price swings. Unexpected developments in the Ethereum network, such as successful upgrades or security breaches, would also likely impact trading activity. Broader macroeconomic trends, like changes in interest rates or inflation, can also affect the price of Ethereum. Finally, significant news related to the adoption of Ethereum by institutions or large corporations could move this market considerably.
