This market tracks whether the price of Ethereum will be above $2,400 on September 14, 2026. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to that outcome. Resolution will be based on the 12:00 PM ET Binance ETH/USDT 1-minute candle “Close” price, as reported directly from Binance at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT. Keep a close watch on the price of Ethereum leading up to September 14, 2026, as the final Binance ETH/USDT price at noon ET on that date will determine the market’s outcome.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Binance 1 minute candle for ETH/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title has a final "Close" price higher than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs. Price precision is determined by the number of decimal places in the source.
Currently, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional spot price expectations. While spot prices reflect immediate supply and demand, this market aggregates the beliefs of a diverse group of traders forecasting Ethereum’s price on Sep 14, 2026. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments, access to information, or simply varying interpretations of future events. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights into market sentiment and potential price movements, offering a forward-looking view not always captured in spot markets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell shares representing their belief about whether Ethereum will be above a certain price on Sep 14, 2026. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability curve. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The closer the market gets to Sep 14, 2026, the more the price will reflect the collective wisdom of traders, and the more sensitive it will be to new information. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for a real-time assessment of market sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the price of Ethereum will be assessed at a defined time on that date, and the market will settle based on whether that price is above or below the predetermined level. The resolution will rely on widely recognized and publicly available data sources to ensure transparency and accuracy, providing a clear determination of the market’s outcome.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Sep 14, 2026. Major developments in Ethereum’s ecosystem, such as successful upgrades or the launch of new decentralized applications, could positively influence the price. Conversely, negative news regarding security vulnerabilities, regulatory crackdowns, or increased competition from other cryptocurrencies could exert downward pressure. Broader macroeconomic factors, like changes in interest rates or inflation, could also play a role, as these can affect investor risk appetite and overall market sentiment towards digital assets.
