Description

This event determines the price range of Ethereum on a specific date and time by analyzing real-time market data. The outcome is based on the average price during the final minute before the specified expiration time, ensuring an objective and standardized measurement of the asset's value at that moment.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on September 9, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the official outcome is determined by which range the calculated average falls into. If the average is below $1,690.00, the "$1,689.99 or below" market resolves as Yes. If it falls within any of the defined ranges from $1,690.00 to $3,209.99, the corresponding market resolves as Yes. If the average exceeds $3,209.99, the "$3,210 or above" market resolves as Yes. All markets use the same data source and calculation methodology, with the final value being the average of 60 ERTI prices collected in the last minute before expiration. The secondary rules clarify that while various sources may show different prices, CF Benchmarks' ERTI is the sole authority for resolution.
