Description

This event tracks Ethereum's price at a specific future moment, using a standardized benchmark index to determine the outcome. The price will be measured precisely at 5 PM EDT on September 19, 2026, by averaging real-time data collected in the final minute before that time.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on September 19, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market resolving to 'Yes' is the one where the calculated average falls within its defined bounds. If the average is below $1,740.00, the first market resolves to 'Yes'. If it is above $3,259.99, the final market resolves to 'Yes'. For all intermediate ranges, the market corresponding to the exact $100-wide bracket containing the average resolves to 'Yes'. All markets not matching the calculated average resolve to 'No'. The official price is exclusively determined by CF Benchmarks' ERTI, collected and averaged over the final minute before expiration, regardless of other potential price sources.
