Description

This event tracks Ethereum's price at a specific future moment, using a standardized index to determine the outcome across multiple predefined price bands. The resolution depends solely on where the price falls within these ranges at the exact closing time.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on September 16, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market resolving to 'Yes' is the one whose range contains this average price. The official price is calculated by averaging 60 ERTI readings collected during the final minute before expiration. All markets share this resolution methodology, with outcomes determined exclusively by which range the calculated average falls into. The secondary rules clarify that while public exchanges may show varying prices, CF Benchmarks' ERTI is the sole source for resolution.
