This event tracks the price range of Ethereum (ETH) on June 26, 2026 at 5pm EDT using CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index. The market resolves based on which price band the simple average of 60 seconds of pricing data falls into at the specified expiration time.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) over the 60 seconds immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on June 26, 2026. Each outcome represents a distinct price range, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the averaged price falls. If data is unavailable or incomplete at expiration, affected outcomes resolve to No. The CF Benchmarks Real-Time Index provides continuous pricing data aggregated from major cryptocurrency exchanges.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader beliefs about future price ranges and often diverge from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. While spot markets react to immediate supply and demand, this market embeds longer-term expectations about Ethereum adoption, macroeconomic conditions, and regulatory developments. Comparing the implied probabilities here to your own outlook on those factors can reveal whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution relative to consensus analyst views or your personal conviction.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each ETH price range outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The bid-ask spread reflects the market's liquidity and confidence in the price bands. As new information emerges—whether from on-chain metrics, macroeconomic data, or regulatory news—traders adjust their positions, causing the odds for each range to shift in real time.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, when Ethereum's price at that specific moment is verified against credible public sources. The winning outcome is the price range bracket that contains the actual ETH spot price at the designated time. Once the event occurs and the price is confirmed, payouts are distributed to holders of the correct range outcome, and all other positions expire worthless.
Major catalysts for this market include Ethereum protocol upgrades, shifts in institutional adoption, changes to U.S. crypto regulation, and broader macroeconomic trends affecting risk appetite. Developments in competing Layer 1 blockchains, staking yield changes, and large whale transactions can also sway trader sentiment. Additionally, Bitcoin price movements often correlate with Ethereum, so macro events affecting the broader crypto market—such as Federal Reserve policy or geopolitical shocks—may influence where traders expect ETH to settle by June 2026.
