This event group tracks Ethereum's price at a specific moment on June 23, 2026 at 5pm EDT. The predict platform measures intraday price movement via a 1-hour candle, while Kalshi measures the price level itself across 40 discrete price bands using an independent benchmark index.
Resolution is based on the simple average of sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) collected immediately before 5 PM EDT on June 23, 2026. Each outcome represents a specific price range, with the market resolving Yes to the outcome whose range contains the final averaged price. Price ranges span from below $940 through $2,460 and above, with each range covering approximately $40 increments. The official price source is CF Benchmarks' Real-Time Index, ensuring standardized and reliable price determination across all range-based outcomes.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the ETH/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy shifts, Ethereum network upgrades, institutional adoption announcements, and macroeconomic shocks affecting risk appetite. Regulatory clarity or enforcement actions targeting crypto could trigger sharp repricing. On-chain metrics like staking participation and transaction volume may influence longer-term sentiment. Geopolitical events, traditional market volatility, and competing layer-one developments also shape trader positioning. Monitor both crypto-specific news and broader financial conditions, as this market ultimately reflects how traders weigh all available information through June 2026.
