This event tracks Ethereum's price at a specific future moment, using a standardized benchmark index to determine the outcome. The price will be measured precisely at 5 PM EDT on August 16, 2026, by averaging recent data points from CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index during the final minute before that time.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on August 16, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market whose range encompasses this calculated average will resolve to 'Yes', with all others resolving to 'No'. The official price determination involves collecting 60 individual ERTI price readings during the last minute before 5 PM EDT, then calculating their average. This average is compared against the defined price ranges to determine the resolving market. All markets share identical data collection and calculation methodologies, with CF Benchmarks' ERTI serving as the exclusive source of price data, ensuring consistency across all range-based outcomes.
