This event tracks Ethereum's price performance against a series of escalating thresholds at a specific future date and time. The outcome depends on whether the cryptocurrency's value, measured by a designated benchmark index, surpasses any of the predefined price points.

Kalshi

The event evaluates multiple sequential price thresholds for Ethereum on August 22, 2026, at 5 PM EDT. Each threshold represents a distinct outcome, resolving to 'Yes' if the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately preceding 5 PM EDT exceeds the specified level (e.g., $1,599.99, $1,639.99, etc.). The final price determination uses the average of 60 ERTI readings captured in the final minute before expiration. All markets share the same data source and methodology, ensuring consistency across thresholds. Higher-priced markets inherently require the price to surpass all lower thresholds, as each subsequent threshold is strictly higher than the previous one.
