The resolution source for this market is Elon Musk’s X account, https://x.com/elonmusk. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Currently, it’s difficult to directly compare this market to traditional polling averages, as predicting tweet counts isn’t a common subject for public opinion surveys. However, we can look at general sentiment regarding Elon Musk’s social media usage and public interest in his activities. If polls indicated widespread expectations of a significant announcement or increased activity, we might expect to see odds shift towards higher tweet counts in this market. Conversely, if sentiment suggested a period of relative quiet, lower tweet count outcomes would likely be favored.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective wisdom of traders participating on Polymarket regarding Elon Musk’s potential tweet volume.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) between September 24 and September 26, 2026, is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on a publicly available count of his posts during that specific timeframe. The market will then settle to reflect the outcome that most closely matches the actual tweet count.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major announcements from Elon Musk or his companies (Tesla, SpaceX, X) could drive increased social media activity, shifting odds towards higher tweet counts. Conversely, a period of relative quiet or a stated intention to reduce social media usage could lower expectations. Unexpected events, such as significant news cycles or controversies involving Musk, could also influence his posting behavior and, consequently, the market. Any changes in his social media habits leading up to the resolution date could cause substantial movement in the odds.
