This market tracks whether Elon Musk will post between 40 and 64 times on X (formerly Twitter) between September 19, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET and September 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Currently, Polymarket gives this outcome a 92.5% probability. The resolution source for this market is Elon Musk’s X account, https://x.com/elonmusk. Traders should watch the volume of Musk’s posts leading up to September 21, 2026, as this date marks the end of the betting period and the final window for posts to be counted towards resolution.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from September 19 12:00 PM ET to September 21, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Currently, it's difficult to directly compare the odds in this market to traditional polling averages, as predicting tweet counts isn't a common subject for public opinion surveys. However, analysts often attempt to gauge public interest in Elon Musk's activities and potential events that might influence his social media behavior. This market provides a unique, real-money perspective on the likelihood of different tweet counts, potentially offering a different signal than polls which rely on stated preferences rather than incentivized predictions. It’s a way to see what people *believe* will happen, rather than what they *say* will happen.
On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share reflects the market's collective probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price will adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. Currently, the market is driven by speculation about potential events during that period and Elon Musk's typical posting patterns.
This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) between September 19 and September 21, 2026, is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on a count of all publicly visible tweets originating from his verified account during that 72-hour period. The specific number of tweets will determine which outcome wins, and shares will be settled accordingly.
