This market tracks whether Elon Musk will post between 180 and 199 times on X (formerly Twitter) between September 11th and September 18th, 2026. Currently, Polymarket gives this outcome a 26.0% probability, while the second most likely outcome – 200 to 219 posts – is at 17.5%. The market resolves based on the post count from Elon Musk’s X account, https://x.com/elonmusk. Traders should watch the volume of Musk’s posts as we approach the end of the betting period on September 18, 2026, to see if his activity aligns with the probabilities.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from September 11 12:00 PM ET to September 18, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Currently, it's difficult to directly compare this market to traditional polling data, as predicting tweet counts isn’t a common subject for public opinion surveys. However, we can look at general sentiment towards Elon Musk and his social media activity. If polls indicate a significant shift in public perception, or expectations of his engagement, it could influence trading activity in this market. Discrepancies between the prediction market and general sentiment could suggest traders believe factors not captured in polls – such as specific events or announcements – will heavily influence his tweeting behavior.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share reflects the market’s collective assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time forecast. The market’s efficiency relies on informed traders accurately assessing the likelihood of Elon Musk’s tweeting activity during the specified period.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) between September 11 and September 18, 2026, is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on a publicly available count of his tweets during that timeframe, and will determine which outcome – representing a specific range of tweet counts – is the winner. The platform will verify the final count against established sources to ensure accuracy.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Major news events involving Elon Musk or his companies (Tesla, SpaceX, X) could trigger increased or decreased tweeting activity. Changes to X’s policies or algorithms, particularly those affecting tweet visibility or engagement, might also influence his behavior. Unexpected announcements regarding new products, projects, or controversies could also be catalysts. Finally, any statements Musk makes about his social media usage or planned absences could directly move the market as traders adjust their expectations.
