This market tracks whether Elon Musk will post between 40 and 64 times on X (formerly Twitter) between September 10th and September 12th, 2026. Currently, Polymarket gives a 91.5% probability to this outcome, while the probability of Elon Musk posting fewer than 40 times during that period is 5.9%. The market resolves based on the count of posts from the official @elonmusk account on X, as detailed at https://x.com/elonmusk. Traders should closely watch Elon Musk’s posting activity leading up to September 12, 2026, as this date marks the end of the betting period and the final window for posts to be counted toward resolution.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from September 10 12:00 PM ET to September 12, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
It's difficult to directly compare prediction market odds to traditional polling averages, as they represent different forms of belief. Polls capture stated opinions, while this market reflects what people are willing to *risk* on a specific outcome. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than polls, particularly for events with clear, quantifiable outcomes. However, it's important to remember that both are imperfect indicators and can be influenced by various biases. The current pricing suggests a different perspective than many public surveys on Elon Musk’s social media activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The higher the price, the greater the perceived chance of the event happening. Traders can adjust their positions based on new information, causing the price to fluctuate until the market resolves. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for a collective assessment of the likelihood of Elon Musk’s tweet count falling within a certain range.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) between September 10th and September 12th, 2026, will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will depend on a publicly available, verifiable count of his posts during that specific timeframe. Any disputes will be evaluated based on widely accepted data sources for X activity.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Changes in Elon Musk’s posting habits in the years leading up to 2026, major announcements regarding X, or shifts in his public persona could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected events, such as a significant controversy or a major technological development related to social media, might also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, any news related to Elon Musk’s health or availability could also move this market, as it could affect his ability to actively use X.
