This market tracks whether Elon Musk will post between 320 and 339 times on X (formerly Twitter) between October 2nd and October 9th, 2026. Currently, Polymarket gives this outcome a 98.8% probability, while the second most likely outcome – 340 to 359 posts – is at 1.4%. The resolution source for this market is Elon Musk’s X account, https://x.com/elonmusk. Traders should watch closely for activity leading up to October 9, 2026, as that is the end date of the betting period and when the total number of posts will be tallied to determine the outcome.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from October 2 12:00 PM ET to October 9, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Generally, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional polls. While polls capture stated opinions, this market reflects what people are willing to *wager* on, often revealing more accurate forecasts. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when strong biases or emotional factors are at play in public opinion. For example, if polls suggest a certain tweet count is unlikely, but traders believe it’s probable due to a specific event, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This market provides a unique signal based on financial incentives.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) between October 2nd and October 9th, 2026, is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on a publicly available count of his posts during that period. The market will settle to 100% for the outcome that most accurately reflects the actual tweet count, as determined by the available data. Traders should monitor news sources for the official count as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major news events involving Elon Musk, changes to his posting habits, or announcements regarding X (formerly Twitter) could all shift trader sentiment. For example, a major product launch or a controversial statement could lead to a surge in his tweet activity. Conversely, a period of relative quiet or a deliberate decision to reduce his presence on the platform could lower expectations. Any significant shift in public attention towards Musk or his companies is likely to influence the odds on Polymarket.
