The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Currently, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional polling data on the likely number of tweets from Elon Musk during the specified period. While polls capture stated intentions, this market reflects what individuals are willing to put capital behind. This difference can be significant, as prediction markets incentivize truthful forecasting, whereas polls may be subject to biases like social desirability. It’s important to consider that this market’s predictions are based on informed speculation and trading activity, not a direct measure of public opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a growing belief in its likelihood. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final number of tweets posted by Elon Musk on the platform X (formerly Twitter) between October 15th and October 17th, 2026, will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on a publicly available count of his posts during that timeframe, ensuring transparency and objectivity. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
