This market tracks whether Elon Musk will post between 90 and 114 tweets on X from July 23 to July 25, 2026, with the current probability set at 100.0% for the leading outcome and 0.1% for the second outcome on Polymarket. The resolution will be based on activity tracked at https://x.com/elonmusk. Watch for the end of the posting window on July 25, 2026, to confirm the final tweet count and market resolution.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from July 23 12:00 PM ET to July 25, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Prediction markets and traditional polls measure different things, making direct comparison difficult. Polls typically ask respondents for opinions or stated intentions, while prediction markets aggregate the financial commitments of traders betting real money on outcomes. For this market, there are no conventional polls measuring tweet volume forecasts, since social media activity predictions are not standard survey questions. Instead, the market odds reflect trader confidence based on historical patterns, Elon Musk's typical posting frequency, and any anticipated events during the July 23–25 window that might influence behavior.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bets into real-time probability estimates. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing different tweet-count outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the collective assessment of that outcome's likelihood. As more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and others adjust downward, creating a dynamic equilibrium. The current odds reflect the latest consensus among active traders on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, after the three-day observation period concludes. The outcome is determined by counting verified tweets posted during the specified window and comparing the total against the predicted ranges offered in the market. Once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting, the market settles to the outcome bracket that matches the actual tweet count. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their winnings based on the final odds at resolution.
Several factors could shift trader expectations and move odds significantly. Major news events, policy announcements, or controversies during late July 2026 might prompt increased or decreased social media engagement. Changes in Elon Musk's public schedule, platform updates, or shifts in his communication strategy could also influence posting frequency. Additionally, as the observation window approaches, historical baseline data and recent tweet patterns may prompt traders to adjust positions. Real-time market sentiment can shift rapidly if new information emerges about anticipated events during the July 23–25 period.
