This market tracks the volume of posts Elon Musk will publish on X during a specific 48-hour window in mid-July 2026. On Polymarket, the leading outcome—that Musk posts fewer than 40 tweets during this period—stands at 96.3%, with the alternative outcome of 40–64 posts at 3.9%. Resolution will be determined by counting main feed posts, quote posts, and reposts from his @elonmusk account between July 11 at 12:00 PM ET and July 13 at 12:00 PM ET, 2026, as verified directly from X. Watch for Musk's posting behavior as the July 13 resolution window closes at noon ET.
This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from July 11 12:00 PM ET to July 13, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
Prediction markets and traditional polls measure different things: polls capture stated intentions or opinions at a single moment, while markets reflect real-money commitments and incentivize accuracy over time. For this market, traders are wagering on a measurable, verifiable outcome—tweet count—rather than subjective preference. Market odds typically incorporate faster-moving information and self-correct more rapidly than polls when new data arrives. The absence of polling data on tweet volume makes direct comparison difficult, but the market price reflects traders' aggregated confidence in their forecast.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probability percentages. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects trader consensus on whether the tweet threshold will be met. Prices move continuously as new wagers flow in, and the spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity and conviction. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by correctly predicting which outcome will resolve true.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, once the three-day observation window closes and tweet activity can be verified. The outcome is determined by counting all public posts from the specified account during the tracked period and comparing the total against the threshold embedded in the market question. Resolution relies on credible public sources and automated verification where possible. Traders who backed the correct outcome receive their winnings proportional to their stake and the odds at which they entered.
This market may shift based on announcements affecting posting behavior, changes in platform policies, or major news cycles that typically drive social-media activity. Shifts in trader sentiment—reflecting updated expectations about engagement patterns—can also move odds significantly. Historical tweet-volume data and seasonal trends may influence positioning. As the observation window approaches, real-time tweet counts will likely trigger sharp repricing. Any statements or events signaling a change in communication strategy could also prompt rapid market movement.
