This market will resolve according to the number of times Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump), posts on Truth Social between July 7, 12:00 PM ET and July 14, 2026, 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies which are recorded on the main feed will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). The resolution source for this market is the "Post Counter" figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, Truth Social itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.

Prediction markets and traditional polls measure different things: polls sample voter opinion on hypothetical scenarios, while prediction markets aggregate trader bets on actual outcomes. For this market, the odds reflect financial incentives—traders profit by accurately forecasting Trump's posting volume, not by expressing preferences. Prediction markets often incorporate real-time information faster than polls and can capture nuanced expectations about behavioral patterns. However, both tools have limitations. Polls may miss low-salience events, while prediction markets can be influenced by a small number of large traders. Comparing the two provides a richer picture: if this market shows high confidence in the 0–19 post range while other indicators suggest different patterns, that divergence itself becomes valuable context for understanding underlying uncertainty.
This market resolves around Jul 14, 2026, after the trading window closes and the outcome can be verified. The result is determined by counting the total number of Truth Social posts published by Donald Trump from July 7 through July 14, 2026. If the count falls between 0 and 19 posts inclusive, the corresponding outcome wins; any count of 20 or more posts would resolve differently. Verification occurs once the event is confirmed through credible public sources, including Trump's Truth Social account history and independent media reporting. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout once the market officially settles.
Several factors could shift odds before Jul 14, 2026. Major political announcements, campaign events, or legal developments involving Trump may influence his social media activity and trader expectations. Changes in Truth Social's platform features or Trump's personal circumstances could alter his posting frequency. Media coverage of his online behavior, statements from allies or opponents, and broader political momentum heading into late July 2026 all provide real-time signals. Traders also monitor historical patterns—comparing this week's expected activity to previous posting rates helps calibrate forecasts. Breaking news about Trump's schedule, health, or public commitments in early July could trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, if early-week post counts deviate significantly from baseline expectations, traders may adjust their bets on the full-week total, creating volatility as new data arrives.
