This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing Dogecoin up or down by the May 31, 8PM ET deadline. The price of each outcome share reflects the market's implied probability, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. Liquidity, order book depth, and recent trades determine how tightly bid-ask spreads are quoted. Traders can enter or exit positions continuously until resolution, and the final settlement price is determined by the outcome of Dogecoin's price movement at the specified time.
The market resolves at Jun 1, 2026. Resolution is determined by Dogecoin's price direction at 8PM ET on May 31. Traders holding winning outcome shares receive their payout based on the final settlement. The event is binary, meaning only one outcome will be correct. Monitoring Dogecoin price feeds and market conditions in the hours leading up to the deadline is essential for active traders managing positions. Once the deadline passes, the market locks and resolves according to the recorded price movement.
Several catalysts could influence Dogecoin's direction by May 31, 8PM ET, including Bitcoin price action, broader crypto market sentiment, regulatory announcements, and social media momentum. Elon Musk commentary has historically moved Dogecoin volatility sharply. Macroeconomic data, Federal Reserve policy signals, and traditional market risk-off events can also pressure altcoins. Technical levels, exchange inflows or outflows, and competing meme-coin narratives may shift trader positioning. Monitoring on-chain metrics, futures funding rates, and spot volume will help traders gauge conviction and potential reversals leading into the resolution deadline.
