This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
The market resolves at Jun 1, 2026. At that moment, Dogecoin's price direction relative to the specified reference point determines the outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The exact resolution criteria—such as the price feed used and how "up" or "down" is measured—are defined in the market's terms. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the deadline as data is verified and confirmed on-chain.
Dogecoin's price direction by May 31 could be influenced by major crypto market movements, Bitcoin or Ethereum volatility, regulatory announcements, social media sentiment, and macroeconomic shifts. Elon Musk statements or Tesla-related news often impact Dogecoin specifically. Exchange listings, protocol updates, or shifts in retail investor interest can drive sharp moves. Broader market risk-off events or central bank policy changes may pressure all cryptocurrencies. Traders monitor these catalysts closely to adjust positions on Polymarket, making the prediction odds a real-time gauge of evolving expectations.
