This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either an Up or Down outcome. The contract price—ranging from 0 to 1—directly translates to implied probability. Traders deposit collateral, place orders at their chosen price level, and the order book aggregates supply and demand. As new information emerges or market sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time. The spread between bid and ask reflects liquidity and uncertainty; tighter spreads indicate higher confidence and deeper order books.
The market resolves at May 31, 2026. Resolution is determined by Dogecoin's price at the specified snapshot time on May 30, 10PM ET. The outcome hinges on whether the price closes above or below a predefined reference level established at market creation. Once the resolution timestamp passes, the outcome is finalized and shares are settled according to the winning side. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless.
Dogecoin price action before May 30, 10PM ET can be driven by Bitcoin and broader crypto market momentum, regulatory announcements, social media sentiment spikes, and macroeconomic shifts. Major exchange listings or delistings, whale wallet movements, and developer updates to the Dogecoin protocol may also influence direction. Elon Musk commentary has historically moved Dogecoin sharply. Technical support and resistance levels, options expiry dates, and derivative liquidation cascades can create sudden volatility. Monitoring these catalysts helps traders anticipate directional shifts and adjust their market positions accordingly.
