This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, Dogecoin Up or Down - June 9, 11AM ET is priced as a binary outcome contract, with traders buying and selling shares representing each direction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate demand for up versus down positions, with prices ranging between 0 and 1 (or 0% to 100%). As traders place orders, the price adjusts dynamically based on the order book and automated market maker mechanics. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity; tighter spreads suggest more active trading and lower slippage for entering or exiting positions.
The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026. Resolution is determined by Dogecoin's price direction at the specified time of 11AM ET on June 9. Traders holding winning outcome shares receive payouts based on the final settlement. The exact price source and methodology for determining up versus down are established by the market's resolution criteria at launch. Once the resolution time passes and price data is confirmed, the market settles automatically and traders can claim winnings or losses on their positions.
Several catalysts could influence Dogecoin's direction by June 9, 11AM ET, including major cryptocurrency market movements, Bitcoin price action, regulatory announcements, or social media sentiment shifts. Broader macroeconomic events, Federal Reserve policy updates, or risk-on/risk-off sentiment in equities often drive altcoin volatility. Dogecoin-specific developments such as exchange listings, partnership news, or community initiatives could also move the needle. Technical levels, options expiry dates, and large whale transactions may create short-term pressure. Traders monitoring these signals can adjust their positions as new information emerges.
