This market will resolve to "Up" if the Dogecoin price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the DOGE/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/doge-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream DOGE/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 8, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET market is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring, ranging from near-zero to near-unity. Traders profit by buying undervalued outcomes or selling overvalued ones. Liquidity and order-book depth on Polymarket determine how easily large positions can be entered or exited without significant slippage.
The market resolves at Jun 9, 2026. The outcome is determined by Dogecoin's price movement during the specified four-hour window from 8:00PM to 12:00AM ET on June 8. Resolution hinges on whether the closing price at the end of the window is higher or lower than the opening price at the start of the window. The exact reference price source and methodology are defined in the market's terms to ensure objective, verifiable settlement.
Several catalysts could shift Dogecoin's price during the June 8 window. Major cryptocurrency market moves, Bitcoin volatility, regulatory announcements, or social media sentiment spikes can drive short-term directional bias. Elon Musk commentary, crypto exchange news, or macroeconomic data releases during or near the window may trigger sharp moves. Technical levels and support/resistance zones also influence intraday trading. Traders should monitor crypto news feeds, on-chain metrics, and broader market sentiment in the hours leading up to and during the event window.
