On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 6, 3PM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome: traders buy or sell shares representing either an up or down close at the specified time. The price of each outcome share reflects the probability assigned by the market. As traders place orders, the automated market maker adjusts prices in real time. Higher volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. The current odds and recent trade history are visible on the order book, allowing you to assess liquidity and conviction behind each outcome before placing your position.
