This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 5, 6PM ET event is priced as a binary contract reflecting the probability of upward or downward movement by the resolution time. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, with the market price directly indicating the implied probability. As new information emerges—regulatory news, macroeconomic shifts, or Dogecoin-specific developments—traders adjust positions, moving the odds in real time. The current market price aggregates all available information and trader conviction, making it a dynamic gauge of expected Dogecoin direction through June 5.
The Dogecoin Up or Down - June 5, 6PM ET market resolves on Jun 5, 2026. At that point, the outcome is determined by comparing Dogecoin's price at the specified resolution time against the reference level established at market creation. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is final once the outcome is confirmed, and all positions settle accordingly. This fixed deadline ensures clarity and prevents ambiguity about which trades are winners.
Several catalysts could shift Dogecoin's price direction before June 5. Macro events—Federal Reserve policy announcements, inflation data, or broader crypto market sentiment—often drive altcoin volatility. Dogecoin-specific news, such as exchange listings, developer updates, or celebrity endorsements, can trigger sharp moves. Bitcoin's price action typically influences Dogecoin as a correlated asset. Regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrencies, technical breakouts or breakdowns at key support/resistance levels, and shifts in retail trading interest on social platforms can all move the needle. Monitoring these signals helps traders refine their directional thesis before market resolution.
