This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
The Dogecoin Up or Down - June 5, 5AM ET market resolves at Jun 5, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing Dogecoin's price at the specified resolution timestamp against a reference baseline. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The exact price source and methodology are defined in the market's resolution criteria, ensuring objective and transparent settlement for all participants.
Several catalysts could shift Dogecoin's price direction before Jun 5, 2026. Major Bitcoin or broader crypto market moves often drag Dogecoin along, given its high correlation. Social media sentiment, celebrity endorsements, or Elon Musk commentary have historically moved Dogecoin sharply. Regulatory announcements affecting meme coins or retail trading platforms could trigger volatility. Macro events like Fed policy shifts or stock market turbulence may also influence risk appetite for speculative assets. Technical support and resistance levels, combined with options expiry dates, can create price pressure near the resolution window.
