This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 4, 6AM ET contract is priced as a binary outcome with two sides: up and down. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each direction, and the current odds reflect the aggregate demand for each outcome. The market displays the implied probability for each side, allowing you to see whether traders are more confident in an upward or downward move by the June 4 deadline at 6AM ET.
Dogecoin's price direction by June 4 could be influenced by broader crypto market sentiment, Bitcoin's performance, social media momentum, and macroeconomic news affecting risk appetite. Regulatory announcements, exchange listings, or major endorsements can also shift trader expectations. Additionally, changes in on-chain activity, whale transactions, or shifts in retail interest may drive volatility. Monitoring these catalysts helps traders anticipate how the odds on Polymarket may shift as the resolution date approaches.
