This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the DOGE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the DOGE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either outcome: DOGE up or DOGE down by the June 4 deadline. Share prices range from 0 to 1 and directly reflect the implied probability of each outcome. Liquidity and order book depth on Polymarket determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions. The market price continuously adjusts as new trades occur, with larger volume typically indicating higher confidence in a particular direction.
The market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. At that moment, the outcome is determined by comparing Dogecoin's price level at the specified time against the reference price established at market creation. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The resolution process is final once the outcome is confirmed, and all positions settle accordingly on Polymarket.
Several catalysts could shift DOGE price before June 4. Major Bitcoin or Ethereum moves often drag altcoins along, while regulatory announcements or SEC statements on crypto can trigger broad selloffs. Elon Musk social media activity historically influences Dogecoin volatility. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, Fed policy signals, or tech sector earnings—may redirect capital flows. Exchange listings, partnership news, or technical breakouts above key resistance levels could spark upside momentum. Conversely, market corrections, liquidation cascades, or negative sentiment shifts could drive prices lower. Monitor on-chain metrics and trading volume for early signals.
