This market will resolve to "Up" if the Dogecoin price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the DOGE/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/doge-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream DOGE/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
Prediction market odds reflect collective trader expectations about Dogecoin's directional movement during that specific four-hour window, while spot price expectations are typically derived from technical analysis, on-chain metrics, or analyst forecasts. The prediction market odds on Polymarket may diverge from traditional analyst sentiment if traders perceive asymmetric risk or unique catalysts. Comparing the market-implied probability to independent price forecasts can reveal whether traders are pricing in event-specific volatility or macro crypto conditions that analysts have not yet fully incorporated.
On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 2, 4:00AM-8:00AM ET market is priced using an automated market maker model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of liquidity and cumulative trader positions on each side. Prices move continuously as new trades execute, with the spread between bid and ask determined by available depth. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market resolves, and the final settlement price is determined by the actual Dogecoin price movement during the specified window.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026. The outcome is determined by Dogecoin's price movement during the specified four-hour window from 4:00AM to 8:00AM ET on June 2nd. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution is based on the price data captured at the start and end of the window, with the direction of change determining which outcome prevails.
Several catalysts could influence Dogecoin's price during this window. Macro crypto market movements, Bitcoin volatility, or major exchange announcements could trigger directional shifts. Social media sentiment spikes or celebrity endorsements historically move Dogecoin sharply. Regulatory news affecting the broader crypto sector, changes in stablecoin liquidity, or shifts in retail trading activity could also impact price action. Additionally, any technical breakouts or support/resistance levels tested during Asian or early European trading hours may establish momentum heading into the 4:00AM-8:00AM ET window.
