The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance DOGE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, which often diverges from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. While the live DOGE/USD exchange rate shows today's valuation, this market prices in forward-looking sentiment about whether that price will move up or down by the resolution date. Traders incorporate news, technical patterns, and macroeconomic signals into their bids and asks. The odds here can serve as a contrarian indicator or confirmation signal when compared to traditional financial expectations, since prediction markets reward accuracy over opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader deposits into shares of the up or down outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the full payout if that outcome occurs at resolution. The current odds reflect the ratio of capital backing each side; as traders buy or sell, the price adjusts continuously. Liquidity and trading volume influence how much the price moves with each transaction, so deeper pools allow larger trades with less slippage.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed against credible public reporting of Dogecoin's price movement. The winning side is determined by whether DOGE closes higher or lower than its reference level at that specific moment. Once the event is verifiable from established financial data sources, the market settles and winning shares are redeemed at full value while losing shares expire worthless. All traders receive their payouts within the standard settlement window.
Major catalysts for Dogecoin price swings include regulatory announcements, Bitcoin or broader crypto market rallies or crashes, social media sentiment spikes, and macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite. Corporate adoption news or high-profile endorsements can drive sudden buying pressure. Conversely, exchange delistings, security incidents, or hawkish central bank commentary may trigger selloffs. Technical chart breaks above or below key support and resistance levels often accelerate momentum in either direction. Traders monitor these signals closely and adjust their positions as new information emerges before the June 14 deadline.
