Major catalysts include regulatory announcements affecting cryptocurrency trading, macroeconomic data influencing risk appetite, social media momentum or celebrity endorsements tied to Dogecoin, Bitcoin price swings that typically drag altcoins along, and exchange listings or delistings. Technical developments, changes in mining activity, or shifts in retail investor sentiment can also drive sharp repricing. Broader crypto market volatility, Federal Reserve communications, and geopolitical events that impact asset classes more generally often ripple through this market as traders adjust their directional bets.
