This market will resolve to "Up" if the Dogecoin price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the DOGE/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/doge-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream DOGE/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, the Dogecoin Up or Down - June 1, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET event is priced as a binary outcome contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing either the "Up" or "Down" outcome, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). The current market price reflects the aggregate belief of all active traders on that platform. As the June 1st window approaches, prices typically tighten and volatility may increase. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and your profit or loss depends on the final resolution price relative to your entry price.
The market resolves at Jun 2, 2026. The outcome is determined by Dogecoin's price movement during the specified four-hour window on June 1st, from 8:00PM to 12:00AM ET. The resolution hinges on whether the closing price at the end of that window is higher or lower than the opening price at the start. Once the window closes, the market enters a settlement phase where the outcome is finalized and winnings are distributed to holders of the correct outcome shares. Traders should monitor the exact timing carefully to ensure their positions reflect their intended directional bet.
Several catalysts could influence Dogecoin's price during that four-hour window. Major cryptocurrency market moves, Bitcoin volatility, or shifts in broader risk sentiment often drag altcoins like Dogecoin along. Social media momentum or celebrity endorsements have historically moved Dogecoin sharply. Regulatory announcements or macroeconomic data releases on June 1st could trigger volatility across crypto markets. Technical levels and support/resistance zones may also guide short-term price action. Additionally, large exchange inflows or outflows, whale transactions, or changes in trading volume on major spot exchanges can signal directional pressure. Monitoring these signals in real time can help you adjust your market position before the resolution window closes.
