This event divides Dogecoin's price on June 14, 2026 at 5pm EDT into specific ranges, with each range representing a mutually exclusive outcome. The price is determined using CF Benchmarks' Dogecoin Real-Time Index averaged over 60 seconds.
Resolution is based on the simple average of sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Dogecoin Real-Time Index (DOGEUSD_RTI) collected before 5 PM EDT on June 14, 2026. The final price is calculated by averaging all 60 RTI prices captured in that final minute. Exactly one outcome will resolve to Yes, corresponding to the price range in which the average falls. The ranges are mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive, covering all possible prices from below $0.01 to $0.175 and above. CF Benchmarks' RTI is the authoritative data source; prices from other platforms are for reference only.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader expectations about where Dogecoin will actually trade, often diverging from current spot prices because they factor in volatility, upcoming catalysts, and longer-term sentiment. While spot prices show the price right now, this market's odds represent a probabilistic forecast of future value at a specific time. Comparing the two can reveal whether traders expect significant price movement or relative stability between now and the resolution date.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to different Dogecoin price ranges. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each range contract trades at a price between 0 and 100 cents, reflecting the probability that DOGE will close within that band. As new trades flow in, prices adjust dynamically, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market rates that reflect the latest consensus on Dogecoin's likely price at settlement.
This market resolves around Jun 14, 2026, at which point the outcome is determined by verifying Dogecoin's actual price against credible public sources. The winning price range is confirmed once the event occurs and the data is available from established market feeds. All positions are then settled according to which range bracket the final price falls into, with payouts distributed to holders of the correct outcome.
Major catalysts for this market include regulatory announcements affecting cryptocurrency, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, Dogecoin-specific developments or social media momentum, and broader Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements. Technical levels and support or resistance zones can also trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, changes in exchange inflows, large whale transactions, or shifts in retail sentiment tracked through community channels often drive significant odds swings as traders adjust their positions ahead of the settlement date.
