This event divides Dogecoin's price on July 7, 2026 at 5pm EDT into specific price ranges. Participants select which range they believe DOGE will fall within, from below $0.01 up to $0.165 or above. The official price is determined by averaging 60 seconds of CF Benchmarks' Dogecoin Real-Time Index data at expiration.
Resolution is based on the simple average of sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Dogecoin Real-Time Index (DOGEUSD_RTI) collected immediately before 5 PM EDT on July 7, 2026. Each outcome represents a distinct price range, and exactly one outcome resolves to Yes based on where the 60-second average falls (e.g., below 0.01, between 0.01-0.0149999, between 0.015-0.0199999, etc.). The official final value is the average of all 60 RTI prices collected during the final minute before expiration. Cryptocurrency price data varies across sources; CF Benchmarks' RTI is the authoritative source for this market, not alternative sources like Google or Coinbase.
Prediction market odds reflect what traders collectively believe will happen, which often diverges from current spot prices or analyst forecasts. On this market, the odds embed forward-looking sentiment about Dogecoin's trajectory over the next two years, factoring in adoption trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic conditions. Spot price today represents only the present moment, whereas prediction odds synthesize expectations across a longer horizon. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish momentum relative to today's valuation, offering insight into whether traders expect significant appreciation or depreciation by the resolution date.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, at which point the actual Dogecoin price at that specific time is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which price range bracket contains the verified spot price on July 7, 2026 at 5pm EDT. Once the event occurs and the price is confirmed, the corresponding range contract is marked as correct, and traders holding shares in that outcome receive their payout. All other range contracts expire worthless. Resolution is final once the price data is locked in and confirmed.
Major catalysts for this market include regulatory announcements affecting cryptocurrency adoption, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, technological upgrades to the Dogecoin network, and shifts in retail or institutional interest. Broader crypto market movements, Bitcoin price action, and changes in stablecoin dynamics can all influence Dogecoin's trajectory. Social media sentiment and celebrity or corporate endorsements have historically moved DOGE significantly. Geopolitical events, central bank policy changes, and competing layer-one blockchain developments may also sway trader expectations about where Dogecoin will trade in mid-2026. Each of these factors can cause odds to shift as new information reaches the market.
