This event tracks whether the spot price of a specific DDR5 memory module exceeds various thresholds on a set date. The resolution depends on real-time pricing data from a designated source, reflecting market conditions for this technology product.
All markets resolve based on the DDR5 16Gb (2Gx8) eTT spot price as reported by Ornn at 4 PM ET on August 14, 2026. If Ornn does not publish data for that exact time, the most recent available data prior to the expiration time will be used. Post-expiration revisions to the price data are disregarded. All prices are evaluated using the USD iteration of the index and rounded to two decimal places. Each market has a specific price threshold; resolution is "Yes" if the spot price exceeds that threshold, otherwise "No".
On Kalshi, this market uses trader submissions to set its current odds. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The probability reflects collective expectations among participants about where the DDR5 16Gb price will land by the end of Week 33. Volume of $222 shows overall interest, while recent 24-hour volume of $186 captures short-term shifts. Traders adjust positions based on real-time news, supply chain updates, and broader market trends affecting memory pricing.
This market resolves around Aug 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final price will be determined by authoritative industry sources tracking actual DDR5 16Gb pricing data, ensuring an objective and transparent resolution process for all participants.
Several signals could shift this market before Aug 14, 2026. Major announcements from manufacturers about production delays or new capacity expansions often cause rapid adjustments. Broader technology sector volatility, currency fluctuations, and commodity price swings may also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected geopolitical tensions or regulatory changes impacting semiconductor trade can create sudden movements. As the week progresses, any official price reports or industry forecasts released close to the resolution date will likely drive the final odds.
