This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) on June 25, 2026 is higher than the Close price for Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) on June 25, 2026 is lower than the Close price for Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless that Friday were a market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.COIN%2FUSD. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.COIN%2FUSD?t=1773432000).

Prediction market odds reflect real-money bets from traders and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets or consensus estimates. While equity analysts typically issue 12-month outlooks based on fundamental research, this market focuses on a single-day binary outcome, creating a different risk-reward dynamic. Traders incorporate intraday volatility, earnings surprises, macroeconomic news, and technical levels into their pricing. When this market shows strong conviction toward one outcome, it may signal that informed traders expect a catalyst or momentum shift that mainstream analyst reports have not yet fully priced in.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share in the "Up" or "Down" outcome is priced between 0 and 1, with the sum of both sides equaling 1. As traders buy or sell shares, the price moves to reflect new information and shifting sentiment. The current market price directly translates to the implied probability that Coinbase stock will close higher on June 25, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the trading day closes and Coinbase's final stock price is confirmed. The outcome is determined by comparing COIN's closing price on that date to its opening price; if it finishes higher, the "Up" side wins, and if it finishes lower or flat, the "Down" side wins. Resolution is verified against credible public sources to ensure accuracy. Traders should monitor for any corporate actions, regulatory announcements, or market-wide events that could affect the stock's movement on that specific day.
Key catalysts include Coinbase earnings releases, cryptocurrency market rallies or crashes, regulatory developments affecting digital asset exchanges, and broader equity market volatility. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, interest rate expectations, or Fed communications—can shift sentiment toward risk-on or risk-off positioning. Company-specific news such as product launches, executive changes, or partnership announcements may also influence trader conviction. Intraday technical levels and options expiration activity could amplify price swings. Traders should track crypto market health, Bitcoin and Ethereum price action, and any SEC or congressional statements regarding crypto regulation, as these directly impact Coinbase's business outlook.
