This market will resolve to "Yes" if Anthropic makes any Claude 4.7 model available to the general public by the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." Claude 4.7 refers to a product explicitly named Claude Opus, Sonnet, or Haiku 4.7, or a variant that is recognized as a successor to Claude 4.6, similar to the progression from Claude 4.2 to Claude 4.3. (e.g., Claude Opus, Sonnet, or Haiku 4.8, 4.9, etc., would qualify toward a "Yes" resolution to this market) Qualifying releases of task-specialized models, cost-efficiency variants, or similar will count for this market. Products labeled as a new flagship generation such as Claude 5 or similar will NOT qualify. For this market to resolve to "Yes," a qualifying model must be launched and publicly accessible, including via open beta or open rolling waitlist signups. A closed beta or any form of private access will not suffice. The release must be either clearly defined and publicly announced by Anthropic as being accessible to the general public or otherwise made publicly accessible and explicitly labeled within the company’s official website. Labeling errors, placeholder text, or version names displayed on the website that do not correspond to a model that is actually accessible to the general public will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Anthropic, with additional verification from a consensus of credible reporting.
Comparing the predictions within this market to those from external analysts reveals how collective intelligence stacks up against expert opinion. Currently, the market is reflecting expectations about the timing and features of Claude 4.7, potentially incorporating information not yet widely available in traditional forecasts. Discrepancies between this market and analyst predictions could signal differing interpretations of available data, or a belief among traders that analysts are underestimating or overestimating certain aspects of the release. It's a dynamic comparison, constantly evolving as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that as more traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. The market’s price action provides a real-time assessment of the collective prediction regarding the Claude 4.7 release.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the release of Claude 4.7 is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on official announcements from Anthropic regarding the availability of the model, including details about its features and access methods. The exact details of the release will be assessed against publicly available information to determine the final outcome of this market. Traders should monitor announcements from Anthropic to stay informed about the potential resolution triggers.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Official announcements from Anthropic regarding the development progress, testing phases, or potential release timeframe for Claude 4.7 would be major catalysts. Leaks of information about the model’s capabilities or features could also cause substantial price movement. Furthermore, broader news related to the AI industry, competitive pressures from other large language models, or regulatory developments could influence trader sentiment and, consequently, the market’s price. Unexpected delays or advancements in the release schedule are also likely to drive activity.
