Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Limitless reflect trader expectations about relative weekly performance, which often diverge from current spot prices of Bitcoin and gold. While spot markets price immediate supply and demand, prediction odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment about volatility, macro catalysts, and momentum over the specific weekly window. Comparing Limitless implied probabilities to analyst forecasts and historical volatility patterns can reveal whether the market is pricing in consensus expectations or contrarian positioning. Traders use this gap to identify mispricings relative to their own conviction on weekly performance dynamics.

On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Limitless, BTC vs Gold: higher weekly % gain is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. The platform calculates implied probability from the current bid-ask spread and recent trade volume. As new information about Bitcoin or gold weekly moves emerges, traders adjust positions, shifting the price. Limitless pricing reflects real-time conviction among its participant base and can be compared to sentiment indicators and technical analysis to assess whether the current odds fairly represent the likelihood of either asset outperforming on a weekly basis.

The BTC vs Gold: higher weekly % gain market resolves on Jun 15, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing the weekly percentage gain of Bitcoin against the weekly percentage gain of gold over the specified period. The asset posting the higher percentage return determines the winning outcome. Traders should monitor both spot price movements and volatility leading up to the resolution window, as intraweek swings in either market can shift the final result. The exact measurement methodology and data sources are specified in the market's resolution criteria.

Bitcoin weekly performance is sensitive to regulatory announcements, macroeconomic data, Fed policy signals, and crypto-specific sentiment shifts. Gold typically responds to real interest rates, dollar strength, geopolitical risk, and inflation expectations. Major catalysts include central bank decisions, employment reports, inflation prints, and tech or regulatory headlines affecting crypto adoption. Sudden risk-off events often boost gold, while risk-on sentiment and institutional adoption news tend to favor Bitcoin. Traders should track economic calendars, Fed communications, and on-chain metrics to anticipate weekly momentum swings that could determine which asset posts the stronger percentage gain by resolution.
