This market tracks Bitcoin's price range on June 15, 2026 at 5pm EDT using CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index. Outcomes are divided into specific price bands, from $54,249.99 or below up to $73,750 or above.
The market resolves based on the simple average of sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) collected before 5 PM EDT on June 15, 2026. Each outcome corresponds to a specific price range, with ranges of $250 width covering prices from below $54,250 up to $73,750 or above. The official price determination uses CF Benchmarks' RTI. At the last minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices are collected and averaged to determine the final resolution value.
Prediction market odds reflect what traders are willing to stake on specific Bitcoin price ranges, which often diverges from analyst forecasts or current spot prices. While traditional price targets rely on fundamental analysis and technical models, this market aggregates real-money bets from participants with direct financial incentive to be accurate. The odds here can reveal where the crowd expects volatility, support, and resistance to land by the resolution date. Comparing these probabilities to published analyst estimates or on-chain metrics can highlight where market consensus differs from expert opinion.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each Bitcoin price range. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each range functions as a separate contract, and the price of a share reflects the implied probability that Bitcoin will close within that bracket at the specified time. Traders profit if their chosen range occurs and lose their stake if it does not. The continuous two-sided market ensures prices update in real time as new orders flow in, keeping odds aligned with evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once Bitcoin's price at that moment is verifiable from credible public sources. The winning range is determined by where BTC trades at the specified time on that date. All shares in the correct range pay out in full, while shares in incorrect ranges expire worthless. Resolution is automatic once the price data is finalized, ensuring a transparent and dispute-free settlement.
Major catalysts include Federal Reserve policy decisions, macroeconomic data releases, regulatory announcements affecting cryptocurrency, and Bitcoin adoption milestones. Geopolitical events, corporate treasury moves, and shifts in institutional demand can also reshape price expectations significantly. Technical developments such as network upgrades or security incidents may influence trader positioning. Additionally, movements in traditional markets—equities, bonds, and the US dollar—often correlate with Bitcoin volatility and can shift the odds across price ranges. Real-time monitoring of these factors helps traders adjust their positions as new information emerges.
