Description

This event tracks Bitcoin's price performance at a specific future moment, using a standardized index to determine the outcome. The resolution depends on whether the price falls within any of several defined ranges at the exact closing time.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on August 20, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market resolves to 'Yes' if the calculated average falls within that range. The official price is determined by averaging 60 RTI prices collected in the final minute before expiration. All markets share this resolution mechanism, with outcomes determined exclusively by whether the price average meets the defined threshold for each range.
