This event tracks Bitcoin's price at a specific future moment, using a standardized index to determine the outcome. The resolution depends on whether the price falls within any of several defined ranges at the exact time specified.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on August 15, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market resolves to 'Yes' if the calculated average falls within that range. The official price is derived from averaging 60 BRTI prices collected during the final minute before expiration. It is important to note that this index may differ from prices shown on consumer platforms like Google or Coinbase, and the BRTI value is the sole determinant of resolution.
