Description

This event tracks Bitcoin's price performance against a series of escalating thresholds at a specific future date and time. The outcome depends on whether the cryptocurrency's value, measured by a designated benchmark index, meets or exceeds any of these thresholds during the defined measurement window.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on August 5, 2026. If this average exceeds any of the specified threshold values (ranging from $53,500 to $73,250 in $250 increments), the corresponding market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No.' The official price is determined exclusively by CF Benchmarks' BRTI, with the final value calculated as the average of 60 RTI prices collected in the last minute before expiration. All markets share the same measurement methodology and data source, ensuring consistency across thresholds.
