Description

This set of markets tracks potential fluctuations in Brent crude oil pricing at a specific future moment. Each market evaluates whether the oil price exceeds a particular threshold, allowing participants to speculate on how high prices might climb by that date.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the closing price of a one-minute candlestick for Brent crude oil at 5:00 PM EDT on September 10, 2026. The closing price is defined as the price at the end of the immediate preceding one-minute interval, meaning the candlestick timestamped 4:59 PM reflects trading activity from 4:59:00 PM to 4:59:59 PM and closes at exactly 5:00:00 PM. Settlement values are rounded to the nearest two decimal places. If the specified data source fails to publish a price for the exact timestamp, the most recently available published price will be used for resolution. Each individual market has a unique price threshold, ranging from $94 to $103.50 per barrel, and resolves to 'Yes' only if the closing price exceeds its respective threshold.
