Description

This set of markets focuses on predicting the precise closing price of Brent crude oil at a specific moment in the future. Each market has a different threshold, allowing participants to bet on whether the price will exceed various levels at that exact time.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the closing price of the 1-minute candlestick for Brent crude oil at 5:00 PM EDT on September 02, 2026. A market resolves to 'Yes' if the closing price exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., $87, $87.50, etc.). The settlement value is rounded to the nearest two decimal places. The closing price for the 1-minute candlestick at 5:00 PM EDT is defined as the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval (i.e., the candlestick timestamped 4:59 PM, which reflects trading from 4:59:00 PM to 4:59:59 PM and closes at 5:00:00 PM). If the specified data source does not publish a price for the exact time, the most recently available published data will be used to determine the settlement.
