The event determines whether Brent crude oil prices exceed specific thresholds at a precise moment in time, reflecting immediate market conditions rather than trends or broader economic factors.
All markets resolve based on the closing price of a one-minute candlestick for Brent crude oil using the BRENTV6 contract at 5:00 PM EDT on August 13, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold price, and if the closing price meets or exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Settlement relies on the nearest listed contract month, with a rollover to the next contract if the current contract's last trading day is approaching—specifically switching contracts five business days before expiry. The contract month reflects the delivery month rather than the expiration date, adhering to standard exchange symbology. Prices are rounded to the nearest two decimal places, and the closing price for any given timestamp represents the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval. If data for the specified time is unavailable, the most recent published data is used for resolution.
