This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the BNB/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the BNB/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BNB_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance BNB/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective expectations about BNB's price direction by May 31, 4AM ET, often diverging from current spot prices or near-term technical signals. While spot markets react to immediate news and volatility, prediction markets price in longer-dated sentiment and tail-risk scenarios. Comparing these odds to analyst price targets, on-chain metrics, or macro sentiment can reveal whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish catalysts. The prediction market odds represent a probabilistic bet, not a price forecast, so they may differ meaningfully from what traditional technical analysis suggests.
On Polymarket, the BNB Up or Down - May 31, 4AM ET event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices range from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), with the current implied probability visible in real time. As traders place orders, the price adjusts based on supply and demand, creating a continuous market. The spread between bid and ask prices reflects liquidity and uncertainty; tighter spreads indicate higher confidence and trading volume, while wider spreads suggest lower liquidity or disagreement among participants.
The BNB Up or Down - May 31, 4AM ET market resolves on May 31, 2026. At that time, the outcome is determined by comparing BNB's price at the specified resolution timestamp against a reference level. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The exact resolution criteria and data source are specified in the market's terms, ensuring all participants know the settlement rules before trading. Once resolved, the market closes and no further trading occurs.
BNB's price direction through May 31, 4AM ET could be influenced by Binance platform developments, regulatory announcements affecting crypto exchanges, broader Bitcoin and Ethereum momentum, macroeconomic data, and shifts in institutional crypto adoption. Staking rewards changes, token burns, or major partnerships could drive bullish sentiment, while regulatory crackdowns or exchange outages might pressure the price lower. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows and whale transactions may signal accumulation or distribution. Geopolitical events, central bank policy shifts, and traditional market volatility can also cascade into crypto markets, affecting BNB's trajectory over the coming weeks.
