This market will resolve to "Up" if the BNB price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the BNB/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/bnb-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream BNB/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, BNB Up or Down - May 30, 12:00PM-4:00PM ET is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the balance of buy and sell orders; as more capital flows into the "Up" side, its price rises and the "Down" price falls proportionally. Prices range from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%), with the spread between them indicating market certainty. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market resolves, and the final settlement price is determined by the actual BNB price movement during the specified window.
The market resolves on May 30, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing BNB's price at the start of the 12:00PM ET window to its price at the close of the 4:00PM ET window on May 30th. If BNB closes higher than it opened during that interval, the "Up" outcome wins; if it closes lower, "Down" wins. The exact price source and any tie-breaking rules are specified in the market's terms. Once the window closes and prices are finalized, the market settles automatically and traders receive payouts based on their positions.
BNB's price during that four-hour window could be influenced by major cryptocurrency market moves, regulatory announcements affecting Binance or the broader crypto sector, macroeconomic data releases, or shifts in Bitcoin and Ethereum sentiment. Binance-specific news—such as updates on compliance, token burns, or platform developments—often drives BNB volatility. Intraday technical levels and options expiry times may also trigger sharp moves. Additionally, broader market events like Federal Reserve communications or geopolitical developments can create sudden directional pressure. Traders should monitor crypto news feeds and economic calendars closely as May 30th approaches to anticipate potential catalysts within that specific window.
