This market will resolve to "Up" if the BNB price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the BNB/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/bnb-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream BNB/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect traders' collective belief about BNB's directional move during the June 1 window, while spot price expectations are typically derived from technical analysis, analyst forecasts, and broader market sentiment. Prediction markets often incorporate real-time information and incentivize accuracy through financial stakes, potentially offering a different signal than traditional analyst consensus. Comparing the implied probability from Polymarket against analyst price targets or social media sentiment can reveal whether traders are pricing in more bullish or bearish momentum than the broader crypto commentary suggests.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the BNB Up or Down event is priced as two competing outcomes: BNB Up and BNB Down during the specified four-hour window. Traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, with prices ranging from 0 to 100 cents, where the sum of both outcomes equals one dollar. The current price of each outcome reflects its implied probability. As traders place orders, prices adjust dynamically. The market's depth and liquidity determine how quickly large trades move the price, and the spread between bid and ask prices indicates market tightness around the event window.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026. Resolution occurs after the four-hour trading window closes at 8:00PM ET on June 1, when the final BNB price is recorded. The outcome is determined by comparing BNB's price at the start of the window (4:00PM ET) to its price at the close (8:00PM ET). If BNB trades higher at 8:00PM than at 4:00PM, the Up outcome wins; if it trades lower, the Down outcome wins. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout once the market is officially settled.
Several catalysts could influence BNB's direction during the June 1 window. Regulatory announcements affecting Binance or the broader crypto sector, major Bitcoin or Ethereum price swings, macroeconomic data releases, and shifts in risk appetite can all drive BNB volatility. On-chain metrics such as large wallet transfers or exchange inflows may signal accumulation or selling pressure. News about Binance's business developments, token burns, or ecosystem partnerships could also move sentiment. Additionally, broader market events like Fed statements or geopolitical developments can create sudden directional momentum in the hours leading up to and during the event window.
