This event tracks the price of a specific cryptocurrency at a precise moment, using a standardized method to calculate the average price over a short time window. The outcome depends entirely on where the price falls within a series of predefined ranges at the exact moment of measurement.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average price of BNB (Binance Coin) as measured by CF Benchmarks' BNBUSD Real Time Index (RTI) during the final minute before 5 PM EDT on August 31, 2026. Specifically, 60 price readings are collected from the RTI in the sixty seconds leading up to 5 PM EDT, and the average of these readings determines the outcome. The market has 40 distinct outcomes, each corresponding to a specific price range: one outcome for prices $594.99 or below, 38 outcomes covering ranges in $5 increments from $595 to $784.99 (e.g., $595–$599.99, $600–$604.99, etc.), and one outcome for prices above $784.99. All outcomes share the same data-collection methodology, with the RTI serving as the exclusive source of price data, ensuring consistency regardless of external price displays. The average of the 60 readings is compared against these ranges to determine which market resolves as 'Yes'.
